Phoxartist When I first listened to this album, I knew right then and there that I loved it. I first discovered my favorite track, “Dreamland”, last Christmas (Christmas of 2022) and couldn’t stop listening to it for days. I also recently fell in love with “Is This What You Want?” as it does hit pretty close to home. Overall, great track! Favorite track: Is This What You Want?.

"Stasis" is an absolute masterpiece of an opener. "While She Loved Me" and "Is This What You Want?" hit very close to home. "Siren" and "Dreamland" are unreal. "Away We Go" is probably the most cowboy/western tune I've had the pleasure of listening to, wish it was publicly available. Cheers EET, you're a legend. Favorite track: Siren.

ffeno The first time I’ve heard his music was when Dr. Dis played metal and plastic on stream. Okay gotta check out his dude! Then kept post single till smile for the camera came out, man was I blown away! The emotional ride for hype to slow jams only to enrich the listen every time I sit down and relax to it. This album saved me because of hard times I was having and it help me get past that. The groves and rhythm all collect to make one of my favorite albums. Thank you! Favorite track: Hush.

"Smile for the Camera" is an album inspired by my love for film. My goal was for each track to tell a unique story across a number of genres - all while looking through the same lens of nostalgia. I'm grateful to be able to share this project with you, finally.

Finally got this album with another repress. You can always tell a Hotel Pools song from the vibe it provides. Yet each album is different, possible sticking to a theme, creating that unique vibe but allowing for the listener to pick out when it's a Hotel Pools track.
